Epoxy of all kinds started because we wanted to find a lower cost solution for clients that wanted high end looks.  We scoured the internet looking for sources to purchase products that could make this work for our clients and found a solution!  In 2022 we were rewarded for our scouring, testing and hard work by having our very first kitchen we completed featured on Stonecoat Countertops best of 2022 YouTube video!  (Best of 2022 Epoxy Projects | Stone Coat Countertops (youtube.com) Our kitchen can be seen at :39)

Did you know that Epoxy is considered a solid surface countertop and Stonecoat Countertop Epoxy can withstand heat of up to 450 degrees?  (Not that I would recommend putting pans directly on it, but accidents happen, right?)  Epoxy countertops are the only countertops that can be completely seamless, no matter the size, of course large ones may have to be completed in place because we don’t want to build something we can’t get in the door or around the bends to install.  Imagine no little grooves that dirt, grease and grime love to hide in!

From there we realized that epoxy can be used to create beautiful backsplashes (no grout to clean!)  It can even be made to look like an extension of the countertop and give an extremely classy look.  Epoxy countertops are the cat’s meow for rental properties.  Relatively inexpensive compared to other solid surface materials, and if a tenant damages it, it can be gone over again either with a new color coat, or just a clear coat to revitalize it, right in place!  Don’t want to fabricate from scratch (although it’s typically just as cost effective and you don’t have to basically set your house up as a clean room) we can go right over existing countertop surfaces.  This is a great option for remodels or vacant houses, but due to set up expenses and the inconvenience it’s often not practical in an occupied home.

Shower panels became our next endeavor and we have found that these can be placed right over existing flat shower walls, making a bathroom remodel a breeze!  But don’t worry we have the construction background to gut and remodel from scratch as well if necessary or your preference.  No more grout to clean and a classy high end look!

Epoxy can be done in any color imaginable though most of our home projects have been neutral in color, if you want a red or purple countertop, we can do it!  There are so many design techniques the only thing that is limiting is imagination, so every countertop is completely customizable to fit your desired look.

We have also fabricated dining tables, end tables, desks, bars, cover panels for sump pumps, electrical panels and any other pesky unattractive thing you want to hide with a flat panel.  We’ve also had a lot of fun creating arts and crafts with left over epoxy and just to experiment with the characteristics and colors.
